As the founder and managing partner of Russell Street Report, I’ve had the pleasure to meet Ravens fans from all walks of life. Some from Europe, others throughout the country, of course those in the Baltimore Metro area and also fans that range from senior citizens to toddlers.
One such fan, Jeff Hill, actually did some writing for us a few years back and his contributions to RSR were actually inspired by this video of his young son Jamie.
You see Jamie possessed a certain gift for someone of his age. He will undoubtedly put a smile on your face. It’s pure, it’s innocent and so endearing. The joy that this video provides, even if you’re like me and have seen it dozen times before, is every bit as rewarding as the first. It serves as a reminder of what’s important in life. And for me, it also triggers these lyrics, written by Linda Creed and Michael Masser, and performed by recording artists such as George Benson and Whitney Houston:
I believe the children are our future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Young Jamie is clearly off to a fast start…
